Apple State Vinegar
A shrub slaw that is the crowning glory on tacos and rice bowls - plus, it shines on its own, too!
1 cup Pineapple & Sage Shrub (all shrubs work well here!)
1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 medium head green cabbage, cored and sliced thin
1 small onion, sliced thin
1 large carrot, peeled and shredded
1 jalapeño chili, stemmed, seeded, and minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
OR just use 2 x 14 oz coleslaw mix in place of veggies
Whisk Shrub, water, and salt in large bowl.
Add cabbage, onion, carrot, jalapeño, and oregano and toss to combine.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to 24 hours. Stir in cilantro just before serving.
