We make this tea using Eastern White Pine Needles. The soft blue-green needles grow five to a cluster. They are sweet in flavor. Other pines may have a more bitter flavor so take care to identify the tree correctly before you harvest the needles.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Blueberry & Lemon Shrub

1/2 cup Eastern White Pine Needles
Directions
Boil 4 cups of water
Add 1/2 cup Eastern White Pine needles to your favorite tea pot. Pour in the hot water and steep for 10-15 minuets.
Add 1 tablespoon Blueberry & Lemon Shrub to your mug, strain out the pine and pour it over the shrub. Enjoy!
